Privacy & Data Protocol
EFFECTIVE DATE: JUNE 11, 2026 | STANDARD PROTOCOL ID: PP-2026-V1
1. Scope of Energy and Cargo Data Protection
Liage Maritime maintains strict confidentiality over all commercial data points, recognizing that cargo manifests, shipping volumes, trade corridors, and destination points represent market-sensitive information.
This protocol governs the handling of all electronic communications, chartering negotiations, billing invoices, vessel coordinates, and route selections. We do not sell or license data to commodity analysis firms or speculative trading desks.
2. Cryptography & Trade Security Standards
All quote requests, client portals, and vessel monitoring logs are protected under AES-256 bit transit and rest encryption. Secure API pathways are utilized for real-time cargo reporting and document verification.
Commercial records are stored on isolated sovereign cloud systems located in secure logistics nodes, preventing unauthorized cross-border server intrusions.
3. Regulatory Maritime Data Compliance
Our processes strictly conform to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) security guidelines, and the cybersecurity frameworks outlined by international classification societies.
Clients retain full audit rights over data access logs pertaining to their specific shipments and chartering histories. Access requests are processed within five (5) business days.
4. Port State Control and Customs Disclosures
Logistics and cargo data are shared exclusively with official customs agencies, Port State Control (PSC) inspectors, and designated shipping agents strictly in accordance with local safety and customs laws.
In the event of a security or environmental emergency, vessel manifests may be made available to certified coast guard and salvage coordinators immediately to preserve maritime safety and prevent ocean contamination.
